Welcome to our support page! We are Aaron and Stephanie Bratcher from Independence, MO. Married in 2021, we are stepping out in faith as we enter the Church Planting residency with Abundant Life. I graduated from Central Bible College and have served in ministry as a youth, media, and young adult pastor. In recent years, I’ve been a certified teacher, using the classroom as a mission field to invest in the next generation, instilling in them a resistant strength to not break against the weight of culture. Now, God has called us into a new season, planting a church and spreading the gospel in Kansas City and beyond. After putting our “yes” on the table, God has ignited in us a passion to bring the message of Jesus to our community and beyond. We are trusting Him for each step and aiming to be living proof of a loving God to a watching world. Through this residency, we’re being equipped to plant a life-giving, Bible-based church, and we’re inviting you to join our team as a ministry partner. Hi! Welcome to my support page! My name is Abby Boyd, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to step into what God is calling me to here at Paradigm’s young adult ministry in KC! I was born and raised in KC, and it was at Paradigm that I came to a place of full surrender to God. Through this ministry God has completely transformed my life. What started as a place where I encountered Jesus personally has become the place where God has grown my faith, established my identity in Christ, and given me a heart for others to experience the same freedom and hope I found! Now, I have an opportunity to invest in reaching young adults across the Kansas City Metro with the Gospel. Many young adults are hungry for something more than what this world has to offer, searching for purpose, identity, and belonging. At the same time, we also have the nations in our backyard. I’m passionate about seeing this generation encounter Christ, find lasting freedom, and become leaders who carry the Gospel into their workplaces, friendships, and everywhere else! Through Paradigm, I will be helping disciple and equip young adults to follow Jesus, grow in community, and step into the calling God has placed on their lives. I would be honored to have you partner with me through prayer and support as we reach more young adults than ever with the Gospel, right here in Kansas City. ONEWEEK exists to see lives changed by Jesus. We believe that if students give one week of their summer, God can change their lives forever. Students from 7th grade to the 2026 class of graduating seniors are welcome to join us at ONEWEEK! While at ONEWEEK students will build relationships and gain an understanding of Jesus on their level in a welcoming and enjoyable environment.

Team Mongolia will be continuing a multi-year construction project that is installing a heating structure for a youth ministry facility. The team consists of skilled and semi-skilled workers including electricians, plumbers, welders, pipefitters, and carpenters.

Travel with our worship ministry to visit Africa New Life in Rwanda and be a part of training and equipping worship pastors and leaders all over the country as they serve their local communities. You’ll get to see how God has moved in Rwanda over the past 20 years, and how Africa New Life Ministries is transforming the lives of over 11,000 children and families today. You’ll engage with the ministries of Africa New Life and see the communities the ministry has partnered with to bring transformation as we host a worship ministry conference. Finally, you will learn about the history, the ongoing reconciliation, and the beautiful culture of Rwanda.

Our team will do eye exams, vision testing, and eye surgery, ranging from cataracts to lens replacements. RN's and Optometrists are needed for support and overall care in the villages we will be serving.

Join us on a transformative mission trip to Cambodia where our dedicated team collaborates with a Christian international school. Our mission is to radiate God's love by organizing an impactful leadership camp experience for students, families, and teachers. Through this immersive journey, we aim to foster spiritual growth, build meaningful connections, and inspire a sense of purpose among the participants in the heart of Cambodia.

This trip will allow you to use your expertise to make a tangible impact on the health and well-being of those in need, while also experiencing Cambodia's rich culture and hospitality. Session 1: July 1 - 13, 2026 Session 2: July 8 -20, 2026 Join us on an enriching journey dedicated to building connections and fostering relationships with local schools, students, and families in an immersive crosscultural experience. Our trip centers around dynamic summer camps, seamlessly integrating business intelligence education, and promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding. Through interactive activities and collaborative learning, we aim to create lasting connections, bridge cultural gaps, and empower students and families with valuable insights for a brighter future.

Join us on an enriching journey dedicated to building connections and fostering relationships with local schools, students, and families in an immersive crosscultural experience. Our trip centers around dynamic summer camps, seamlessly integrating business intelligence education, and promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding. We will be working with Good News In Action through a local pastor and other church leaders. Every activity will have as its goal the reaching of people with the gospel. During the morning, the most common activity will be One on One Evangelism at the “Calle Septima”, a very wide and long pedestrian walkway located in the downtown of Bogota. Afternoons and Evenings will be Family or Pet Festivals in large parks in populated Neighborhoods where again we will be sharing the gospel One on One and inviting neighbors to the Festival. The week might also include a special activity which will be explained prior to the trip.

The spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by public preaching or personal witness in a variety of settings including but not limited to parks, neighborhoods, marketplaces, schools, institutions and other places where people are gathered. (You will be provided with a translator.) In the mornings you will be divided into smaller teams and share the Gospel in classrooms of different schools. Typically starting with an ice breaker, then give a Values lesson using a Bible story followed by a small group discussion on the topic and a short presentation of the Gospel. You will be provided with the School Lesson prior to your trip and orientation as to how to use it once in the classroom. In the evenings you will participate in Family and or Pet Festivals in neighborhoods. First, the team will go door to door throughout the entire neighborhood inviting all the people to come to the event while also sharing the gospel. Everyone will be invited to a central location, usually the community park or central street, where there will be a very large inflatable for the children, also games and prizes for the children, refreshments, music, a gospel drama and a short-preached gospel message.

April/May 2026 Abundant Life is excited to return in May 2026 to partner once again with the Campus Crusade for Christ ministry, locally known as Fokus, to impact the community through outreach, leadership and worship. This year, we are expanding our efforts by incorporating training on 1-on-1 discipleship, equipping participants to build the foundations of the gospel into their daily lives. Our team will collaborate with Fokus to deliver ministry-focused events and outreach programs that serve families and address community-centered needs. Additionally, Abundant Life Worship will lead worship events, leadership workshops, and other worship/music driven activities designed to encourage the community and other local ministries.

Join us for a life-changing short-term mission trip in partnership with The James Project we provide vulnerable women and children the spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational support they need. We will have the opportunity to take the Abundant Life Castles Family Discipleship material to the staff at the James Project. This trip will allow you to teach and serve house parents who have dedicated their lives to the well-being of children and women in southern Guatemala, while also experiencing Guatemala’s rich culture and hospitality. Team Size: 6-8 participants

October 2026 This trip will focus on identifying and praying for unreached people groups while gaining a deeper understanding of the spiritual, cultural, and social landscape of India. Team members will participate in outreach opportunities, prayer walks, children and youth programs, and church encouragement while learning from local pastors about long-term ministry strategies, disciple-making, and how the Gospel is advancing among unreached communities.

July 24th - August 1st, 2026. We will be traveling to the Ivory Coast to support our missionary partners by helping a summer camp for local children and students. Through games, activities, teaching, relationship-building, and serving alongside the local church, we hope to encourage and invest in the next generation. This trip is also an opportunity to connect with the local community, learn about their culture, and build meaningful relationships through outreach, conversations, and everyday interactions. Our goal is to serve with humility, support the long-term ministry already happening there, and share the love of Christ in practical ways

June 2026 Throughout the year, teams come from all over the US to spend a week living in and working alongside the community, building homes and lifelong relationships. Thanks to those who give financially each month, WBOTJ (Won by One) can offer support, training, and discipleship to empower the people of Harmons even when US teams are absent.

July 2026 We will be partnering with Abundant Life's own Phil and Vala Long. They are planting churches in the capital city, Antananarivo. The team will be helping conduct a youth camp and taking part in church services at Abundant Life Church, Antananarivo.

July/August 2026 Team Mongolia will be continuing a multi-year construction project that is installing a heating structure for a youth ministry facility. Trip Date: August 19-31, 2026 Cost: $3200 Contact: Steve Brown steve.brown@livingproof.co Description: If you have a heart for the "Least of These," then this is the trip for you. We will be partnering with a South African church and prison ministry in Johannesburg to preach the Gospel and promote Biblical discipleship in 5-7 prisons. We will also spend time ministering to the children from an informal settlement or squatter camp. This trip is designed for mature and flexible believers who are willing to go out of their comfort zone and be stretched in their faith. We will also take a one-night safari in the African bush!

September 2026

June 2026. Toronto, Canada is one of most multi-ethnic cities in North America. It is also one of the most religiously diverse cities in the world. Join us as we take a deep dive into the beauty of the multi-ethnic cultures and complexity and darkness of the religious frameworks that perpetuate generational lostness.  You will gain a wealth of Biblical teaching, and a deeper understanding of how the gospel is the only sufficient answer for this city.

Join us on a transformative journey to Asia as we partner with local ministry leaders to encourage and equip pastors and church leaders serving in challenging environments, including closed countries where access to formal training is limited. During this trip, we will come alongside local pastors and ministry leaders through teaching, encouragement, discipleship, and leadership development. We will help provide practical tools for preaching, pastoral care, church leadership, and strengthening their ministries. This trip is designed for individuals who have a passion for God’s Word, a heart for serving the global church, and a desire to invest in those faithfully carrying the Gospel in difficult places.

A mission trip is a life-changing opportunity to experience God at work and share the hope of Jesus with others. Each trip includes orientation, team devotionals and prayer, worship with a local church, and daily opportunities for evangelism in neighborhoods, parks, schools, and public spaces. Teams partner with local churches and interpreters to visit homes, share the Gospel one-on-one, teach values lessons in schools, and invite families to community festivals where they can enjoy games, music, activities, and a Gospel presentation. Those who respond to the Gospel are connected with local churches for follow-up and discipleship. Through these experiences, participants not only see lives transformed by the Gospel but are also challenged to grow in their own faith, become more committed witnesses for Christ, and consider how God may use them in missions long after the trip is over.

Over ten days in October 2026, Abundant Life Church will partner with local church planters and emerging leaders in India to strengthen the gospel movement. Our team will listen to their stories, offer pastoral wisdom and encouragement, lead leadership workshops on discipleship and church planting, and mentor emerging leaders through one-on-one conversations. We’ll engage communities through prayer, outreach, and worship with local churches.

There will also be intentional times of fellowship, prayer, encouragement, and conversation, building meaningful relationships with those faithfully serving on the front lines of ministry. This trip is designed to give you a deeper understanding of church leadership and missions while encouraging and strengthening the pastors and church planters we partner with.

Join us for a unique mission experience in Kenya where Fusion students will have the opportunity to step into the work God is doing around the world. This trip is designed for students to experience missions, learn from local leaders, and see firsthand how church planters are sharing the hope of the Gospel and serving their communities. Participants will spend time alongside local church planters, learning about their ministry, challenges, and the ways they are reaching people with compassion and faith. Through conversations, shared meals, and ministry opportunities, students will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to serve cross-culturally and partner with local believers.

Welcome to our support page! We are excited for all God has in store and is doing through us here in Southern Virginia! God called us to Virginia four years ago where Pastor Bobby completed his master’s degree at the seminary of Liberty University. God sparked a passion within us for the community we have been living in. After much prayer, we were given the opportunity to partner with our former church, Abundant Life Baptist Church, to be a part of their church planting residency and plant a church here. All around us, there are churches dying for lack of Biblical, Christ centered leadership with Scriptural authority. Our mission is to build a church that equips believers for the work of the ministry through the five pillars of prayer, outreach, worship, evangelism, and relationship. We aim to engage the culture in each of these areas to make an impact in the communities where we live, work, and play. As a veteran of the US Army, with two combat tours to the Middle East, Pastor Bobby believes physical warfare is much like spiritual warfare. We are engaged in a spiritual battle which will determine the eternal destination of the people within our reach. Cam Perkins, originally from Topeka, Kansas, has been on a transformative journey since he started following Jesus eight years ago. Now, as a church planting resident with Abundant Life, Cam is preparing to bring the gospel to an unreached city where he hopes to plant a new church. His passion for Jesus and heart for church planting drive his mission to create a thriving community of believers. Cam and his wife, Lily, who were married in 2024, are excited to embark on this new chapter together. Mission: Being living proof of a loving God to rural America—one living room at a time. Passion: “To spread the A-Life across America like wildfire!” I long to see the abundant life of Jesus move through our communities with unstoppable momentum. Just as a spark can ignite a blaze that lights up the night, I desire to see deep faith and abiding love for Jesus spread from one heart to another, one home to another—until every sphere of influence is touched by His healing power. There is something electrifying about the way a heart set on fire by God’s love and grace can awaken others who encounter it. As someone who has walked in the abundant life of Jesus for more than 50 years—and who has served as a pastor, small business owner, and college instructor for nearly 40 of them—I have seen again and again how God uses “ordinary” people to bring extraordinary transformation. I’ve witnessed lives changed, families renewed, and faith multiplied simply through the faithful witness of God’s people. Through both successes and failures, one truth has remained: Jesus is always present, just as He promised. That’s why I am committed to training, mentoring, and supporting leaders who will guide Church Houses and nurture others into a vibrant, life-giving faith. We desire to see students’ lives changed by Jesus! We believe students need more than programs; they need Christ-centered discipleship, gospel truth, and caring adults who will walk with them through real life. Olivia and I know this to be true as it's in student ministry that our lives were changed and we desire to do the same for the next generation. Our heart is to equip, encourage, and build up students so they can grow in faith, find hope, and live out their calling in community. Hi, welcome to my support page! My name is Katelyn Hunter and I am excited and honored to take this next step of obedience in what God is calling me to do! I graduated from the University of Missouri (go tigers!!) in 2023, which is where I had the gospel shared with me and began to follow Jesus. Since graduating in 2023, I have been working as a registered nurse both in Columbia, Missouri and most recently Kansas City, Missouri! God has used nursing to provide opportunities to share the gospel, see people take steps to know Christ for the first time, and has developed my heart for the needs of the world. God has placed on my heart a desire to go to the nations and take the gospel to parts of the world where it is not accessible or yet known. This ministry residency will equip me in ways that will be essential for being an effective and healthy ministry worker on the mission field, and allow young adults in the Kansas City metro area to be engaged in the Great Commission and mobilized to the nations! It is a privilege to partner together in what God is doing among the nations and how he is mobilizing young adults to reach the next generation with the gospel. Welcome to my support page! Our mission is to pursue young adults with the Gospel through Paradigm Posts across the nation! A Paradigm Post is a young adult multiplication-minded community (ages 18–30) that gathers weekly — in apartments, dorms, homes, coffee shops, or community spaces — to watch the Paradigm weekly YouTube stream, grow spiritually together, live on mission together, and build authentic relationships that lead to life change through Jesus. Jesus met me at a very low point in my life as a young adult and it was his love and community of other young adult believers that put me back together. Our vision is to be living proof of a loving God to a watching world and to take the Gospel to the utter ends of the earth through young adults! (Acts 1:8). Welcome! My name is Kelsi Gilmore and I’m so glad you’re here and taking a moment to learn more about what God has placed on my heart. My mission, along with my family, is to reach the next generation and share the hope of Jesus with children and their families. I truly believe that when kids discover their identity in Christ at a young age, it can change not just their lives, but their entire family for generations to come. I grew up in south Kansas City, and through my family’s journey, God led us to the Northland—where it has felt like home ever since. This community means so much to me, and I feel a deep calling to reach kids and families here who may be searching for connection, purpose, and ultimately, Jesus. I really believe God is moving in a powerful way in the Northland, and I’m excited to be a small part of what He’s doing to transform lives. At the heart of it all, I’m stepping into the mission God has been preparing me for: to be living proof of His love and to invest in kids and families as their lives are changed by Jesus. It is here that my faith was rooted and where I felt God's clear call into ministry. That call has led me to Fusion Youth Ministry, where my heart is to see young lives resurrected, healed, and drawn into a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Hey y'all! Welcome to our support page! My name is Tim Berg, and this is my wife, Cortlyn. We got married in June of 2024 and are adding to our family in June of 2025 with a baby boy! We have a Lab/Pitbull mixed doggy named Stone who is 3, he is the sweetest boy. We currently live in Independence, MO and are both leaving our full-time teaching jobs to follow God's calling for our lives. God is teaching us how to lay our "yes" on the table, and trust in Him. I'm not sure what it feels like to be called, but I feel like we're being called to plant a church in the great state of Colorado! There is a desire within us that is unexplainable to move out west. We are so excited to finally say YES to the calling to take the gospel to those who don't know it. Thanks for visiting our page! Welcome to our support page! This is the Wilson family — Zachary, Kathryn, Freya, Eloise, and Anders. I’m excited to join Abundant Life Church as the Fusion Student Ministries Resident at the new Northland campus in Liberty, with Kathryn fully supporting me in the ministry. Kathryn grew up in Liberty and graduated from Liberty High School, and I grew up in nearby Blue Springs, so we truly feel like we’re coming home. Our hearts burn to see middle and high school students discover who they are in Christ and stand strong in their faith. Kathryn and I have been serving at Abundant Life for the past year through Church House and discipleship groups. Fifteen years ago I started right here teaching Fusion Sunday school, so this feels like God bringing us full circle. We’re moving from Emporia with our three kids to pour our time and talents into raising up a generation that knows Jesus. Our desire is to be living proof of a loving God to a watching world.
